This album was an opposite experience to "Constant Fight" in all factors; self produced; self performed; and all songs were written new, and very quickly and recorded in a newly built small studio, in my home village of Wollaston, all in the space of a couple of months.

It's far too pretentious (for me, anyway) to use words like "organic", "it's own entity", or "natural evolution"….so I'll just say it sort of "just happened".

In learning how to use the said new studio, I ended up using some old fashioned techniques such as doubling up on the vocals, and simple reverbs and delays, and the effect was somewhat refreshingly familiar, in the sense that the sounds were reminiscent of those early 70's folk albums that I love so much.

Whether the musical content bares comparison or not, the production "just happened"….and being in my home village, the intimate nature of the surroundings (I think) rubs off on the music.

And some of the best songs I've ever written…….
